We conduct background checks and verify the licenses and certifications of all Medical Professionals listed on MedVroom. However, we do not guarantee the ongoing validity or performance of these professionals.
2.3 Disclaimer of Liability
MedVroom is a booking platform only and does not provide medical services. We are not responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, advice, or outcomes provided by Medical Professionals. Any healthcare services you receive are solely between you and the Provider.
3. For Medical Professionals
3.1 Independent Contractor Status
By registering as a Medical Professional on MedVroom, you acknowledge and agree that you are an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of MedVroom.
3.2 Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Setting your availability and managing your schedule
- Determining your fees and collecting payment (if not processed through our platform)
- Complying with all applicable laws and medical regulations
- Filing and reporting your own taxes, including income and self-employment taxes
3.3 Licensure and Compliance
You must maintain a valid professional license, certification, and any other legal qualifications required for your practice. You agree to notify MedVroom immediately of any changes to your professional status.
3.4 Indemnification and Limitation of Liability
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MedVroom from any claims, losses, or damages resulting from your medical services, negligence, or failure to comply with applicable laws. MedVroom bears no legal responsibility for malpractice or disputes arising between you and any User.
4. Platform Rules
- Do not use the platform for unlawful purposes or to solicit unauthorized services.
- Do not post misleading, false, or harmful information.
- Do not impersonate another person or entity.
5. Termination
MedVroom reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform for any User or Provider who violates this Agreement or engages in conduct harmful to the community.
